County continuing seeding until the line left the county. Some new
"packside" growth built west of the line and seeding lingered until
all storms dissipated. Seeding ended and planes began being sent
back to their bases at 11:53 a.m,

All planes were scrambled in mid-afternoon beginning at 3:32
p,m. when storms were seen building rapidly in Grant, Kearny and
Stevens counties. Seeding at cloud base to suppress hail began in
southwestern Stevens at 4:03 p.m. with three other base seeders
also starting at 4~06, 4:15 and 4:23 p,m., respectively. ~The last
cloud base plane began in southern Grant County at 4:32'P.m. By
.,: 28 p. m. seeding emphasis was -s-hifL':"u9 to' sv....Lhwestern ':::itanton,~
The cloud top plane, airborne at 4:22' p,m., began seeding over
southern Grant county and worked into parts of Stevens and Stanton
along an ,E-W track. Subsequently, storms built into southeast
i-:miLaton and Haskell counties. The Hamilton' storm became' very
intense and bolted northward into Greeley and Wallace counties,
whereas, most other storms moved northeasterly into Kearny, Scott,
Lane, Grant, Haskell, Gray and Finney counties. The cloud top plane
had to return far fuel at 6:55 p.1l\, and cloud base aircraft began
running out of seeding agent at, 6: 57 p,m., one after the other,
hampering seeding effectiveness. Radar showed a bow-echo oriented
N-S across Gray County at 7:23 p.m.---generally a sign that strong
winds and wind-driven hail may follow, Apparently, such was not the
case. Seeding continued to the east into Gray County and Ford
County until 8:11 p.m. before ending.

JUNE 25th - OPERATIONAL DAY #32: A warm frontal boundary may have
been in the area early this morning. At 2: 15 a.m. a WNW";ESE
oriented line of storms built south-southwest from the northwest oe
Lamar across Coolidge and Syracuse. Three ,cloud base planes were
scrambled; however, the cloud top and one cloud base plane could
not b_e. sent aloft since they were not operational at the time.
Seeding for hail suppression began along the line of storms 5 miles
southeast of Coolidge at 2:50 a.m. and two others joined at 2:55
and 3 p.m., respectively. The storms soon weakened and all seeding
stopped at 3:15 a,m. Thereafter, the line continued to fill in and
drop southward into Stanton Coy,nty as. well as'gxtend'furthar Silst
into Grant and Haskell counties. Seeding continued along the line
until 3: 30 a.m. then diverted into southeast Hamilton and southwest
Kearny counties performing seeding from 3:46 to 6:12 a.m, Seeding
,was' also done in Stanton County until 6:40 a.m. By 6:12 a.m. a new
line of storms had built from northeast Grant to southwest Haskell
and into central Seward County. It was seeded from 6:16 to 6:32
a.m, All seeding ended at 6:40 a.m.

At 5:45 p.m. all cloud base planes were scrambled when three
areas of cloud development began to develop strongly: one in
northeastern Lane, another just south of Haskell and one south of
Ford County. The cloud top plane was scrambled at 6:12 p.m. Seeding
began for hail suppression just east of Stevens County, south of
Satanta, at 6:23 p.m. The storm was propagating to the west into
central Stevens County. Two other cloud base planes were on the
storm at 6:32p.m. and a fourth at 6,57 p.m. Four planes continued
