I believe that extra day and extra 7 hours per week wiii go a iong way towards helping us
maintain more healthy turf at our parks.

Lynn H. Cornell - Arapahoe Park and Recreation District District Manager

We are watching very closely and intently. No measures have been taken as of today,
but are being discussed.

Don Shedd - Town of Windsor

To my knowledge, the Town of Telluride does not have a staff person
dedicated to drought issues. We do approve emergency drought measures
during drought years through a Town Council process. I am not aware of
any current or upcoming impacts to are area as a result of drought.

Rich Hamilton, Recreation Supervisor - Town of Telluride

It's pretty hard to renovate 2002s losses with conditions trending in an even
worse pattern. I'm currently trying to grow in/ recover 8 acres of turf for
two separate athletic fields and several trees and shrubs.

Brian Beyer Park Supervisor for Prospect Recreation and Park District.

The Town of Silverthorne has not made any watering restriction decisions yet as we
look towards this summer at any possible drought situation. Last summer we had
voluntary restrictions limiting hours and days of the week for watering, which the Town
followed carefully for all our parks and green spaces. At this time I would expect that
would be the worse case scenario for us this year too.

Bill Linfield - Public Works Director - Town of Silverthorne

In Brighton, the "water restriction" issue will be discussed at City Council level in late
Mayor early June. At that time the Council will decide whether it will change its
present requirements or keep them the same. Presently the City requires sod-planting
permits to be issued. Sod will only be allowed to be planted between April 15th to May
31st and then in the fall. The City does not allow watering between the hours of lOam
to 6pm daily. Last year residents and parks could only water every third day. One
exception was the parks watered by irrigation ditch water, and these parks had to meet
the ditch company watering requirements (usually 4 days of water on and 3 days of
water off). It looks like Council may approve watering every other day this year as long
as watering does not occur between lOam to 6pm. The issue of synthetic turf on fields
has previously been discussed within the City, and the cost is prohibiting further

4
