I live just across the road fonn the house I was born in. <br />High School at bent County High and one year at Colorado State University. Four years in the U.S. <br />Navy. Fanned and ranched since 1948 minus the four years in the Navy. 12 years as County <br />Commissioner and was named Commissioner of the Year in 1986. Served on numerous State and <br />National Boards and committees. Was President of the State Association of County Com~1issioners <br />in 1983. Presently serve on the Board of Directors of the Southeastern Colorado Water <br />Conservancy District and also serve as a member of the Arkansas River Compact Administration. <br /> <br />MICHAEL GROSS <br />Senior Hydrologist, Colorado River Water Conservation District <br />(Glenwood Springs) <br /> <br />Mike Gross has been practicing legal/political hydrology in Western Colorado since 1979, fist as <br />a consultant with Western Engineers. Inc. and later for the Colorado River Water Conservation <br />District. This has put him squarely in the path of most cast/west watcr controversies, including thc <br />Taylor Park Reservoir Refill litigation, Metropolitan Water Supply Investigation, Dillon Reservoir <br />Rcfill, Union Park Project litigation, the Upper Colorado River Endangered Fish Recovery Program, <br />Platte River Cooperative Agreement for Recovery of Endangered Species, and the SB 96-74 Denver <br />Basin/South Platte study. <br />Justifiably proud of his non-engineer status, he has a BS in Geography and MS in Hydrology <br />fonn the University of Idaho. He is serving a second term as a member of the Colorado Ground'Water Commission, which requires <br />an appreciation for the "forgotten" third of Colorado cast of the Pront Range. <br />When not defending the innocent, pristine Western Slopc from the insatiablc thirst of Front Rangc suburbs, he can bc found <br />raising muscum-quality noxious weeds on his five acre ranchette or using fly line to trim willows along the smaller Colorado River <br />tributaries. <br /> <br /> <br />MYRON NEALEY <br />Hydraulic Engineer, Denver Water Department <br /> <br />Myron has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical and Petroleum Refining Engineering from <br />Colorado School of Mines. He has worked at Denver Water for 14 years. The first six years were <br />spent at the Potable Reuse Demonstration Plant as a reclamation engineer. Myron is currently a <br />hydraulics engineer in Denver Water's Planning division. He has been actively involved in the plan- <br />ning of Denver Water's nonpotable reuse project for the last six years. Myron has a wonderful wife, <br />Valerie, and three beautiful daughters. <br />
