Ryan Gulch Reservoir has an estimated storage capacity of 976 acre-feet at the spillway crest but is
currently restricted to 645 acre-feet due to inadequate spillway capacity. The project involves the
consrruction of a new spillway on the left abutment of the dam with adequate capacity to pass the 100-
year inflow design flood. Completion of the project is expected to allow the use of full storage capacity in
the reservoir.
