The existing structure, which was built in 1929 from stones and mortar, has served a very <br />useful purpose in the past but is now considered to be at structural risk due to its age. The proposed project <br />\\i1l bnng the system up to acceptable engmeering standards, and will help to protect the City's CItizens. <br />businesses. visitors, and tnfrastructure.
