The Agricultural Ditch Pump Station at Colfax Avenue and Orchard Drive

Proiect Description
This $-tOO.OOO+ project. located in JetTerson County east of Green Moumanin. abandoned
portions of the \Velch Ditch by construction of a dropout structure on the \Velch Ditch to the Ag
Ditch. and a pump station/pipeline to lift water from the Agricultural Ditch back to the \Velch
Ditch. Several landslide areas along the \Vetch Ditch that continued to create high maintenance and
"~cater deli\'cry problems for the company necessitated the project Mountain States Engineering
Associates. Inc. of Lakewood prepared the project design. The pipeline. constructed by T. Lowell
Construction. Inc. of Castle Rock. and the pump station and dropout-structure. constructed by
Jennison Construction Co. of Littleton. commenced November 3. 1997 were completed in July
1998. Project documenlation was received for substantial completion on October 31. 1998.
