Proiect DescriPtion

This project was the rehabilitation of the Farmers Pawnee Canal Company's diversion and
headgatc structure on the South Platte River. The project Included the installation of sheet piling
and construction of a concrete loe \\14111. The project restores damage caused by the July 1997
Pa\l.!nee Creek nood and protects the benefit of irrigation water to about 10.000 acres of cropland.
The project \...as designed by the NRCS, Sterling office and constructed by R&R International. Inc.
of Denver. Construction commenced March 16. 1998 and was completed April 15. 1998. Project
documentation was received for substantial completion on September 23. 1998,
