<br />Proiect Description
<br />
<br />This $90.000 project was the study of a groundwater recharge operation for the San Luis
<br />Water Conservancy District in Alamosa Counry northeast of Del Norte. The project consisted of
<br />diverting ditch water into three shallow (1-3 feet) recharge basins and construction of several
<br />observation wells in order to document the effect me project had on the area's groundwater
<br />levels. Davis Engineering Service. Inc. of Del None prepared the project design that was
<br />constructed by Cooley Brolhers. Inc. of Mosca, Colorado commencing in May 1993. The srudy
<br />data was analyzed and presemed in a final report (0 the CWCS Augus( 10. 1998.
