The treatment process consists of mechanical micro- <br />strainers, alum flocculent, settling basin and mixed media filter beds. <br /> <br />The new water treatment plant built in 1994-95, is a "packaged" filter plant rated at 10 <br />MGD and has the ability to expand to 30 MGD with additional filter beds. The new <br />plant draws its water from the outlet works of the St. Vrain Supply Canal for Northern <br />Colorado Water Conservancy District's Carter Lake to Broomfield pipeline. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />.------- <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />.
