Program Implementation <br /> <br />Section L Background <br /> <br />The Town of Breckenridge provides treated water to all of the incorporated area and to <br />some of the unincorporated areas surrounding Breckenridge. The Town was established <br />in 1860 and incorporated soon after that The current service area is located downstream <br />of the Goose Pasture Tarn Reservoir on the Blue River where the main water treatment <br />facility is located. The Town also owns and operates a separate very small drinking water <br />treatment facility for 400 homes in the Peak Seven area. This conservation plan will <br />
