PREFACE

This Water Conservation Plan, adopted by the Wheat Ridge Water
District, Board of Directors, contains the Denver Water
Department's plan along with those RUles/Regulations of the Wheat
Ridge Water District as well as the adopted ordinances of the City
of Wheat Ridge, that apply to water conservation.

Also included is the Landscape Design and Maintenance Guidelines
for Water Conservation, published by the City and County of Denver.

This plan was prepared in conformity with the requirements of the
laws of the State of Colorado concerning water conservation at
section 37-60-126 of the Colorado Revised Statutes.
