"In order to determine the suitability of
alternate materials and methods of
installation, and provide reasonable
interpretation of the provisions of this Code,
the Building Code Advisory Committee
previously established by Chapter 2 of the
Code of Laws of the City, shall have authority
to hear and decide those matters delegated to
it, and all matters requiring use of a Board
of Appeals by this Plumbing Code."

Section 3. Any provision of the Code of Laws of the City of
Wheat Ridge Which is inconsistent with or contrary to any of the
provisions hereof is expressly repealed hereby.

Sect:on 4. Violation an~ Penalties. Any person, firm,
association or other entity doing any act or omission in
violation of this Code shall be subj ect to prosecution, and
subsequent penalty, if any, as provided in Section 5-5 of the
Code of Laws of the City of Wheat Ridge.

Section 5. Safetv Clause. The City Council hereby finds,
determines. and declares that this ordinance is promulgat~d under
the pOlice power of the City of Wheat Ridge, ~~at it is
promulgated for the health, safety, and welfare of the public,
end that this ordinance is necessary for the preservation of
health and safety for the protection of public convenience and
welfare. The City Council further determines that the ordinance
bears a rational relation to these objectives.

Section 7. This ordinance shall take effect
