<br />STERLING WATER CONSERVATION PLAN <br /> <br />MAY 28. 1996 <br /> <br />Customer Water Use <br /> <br />Monthly, the City reads each customer's meter and sends them a bill. Billing records <br />are maintained on a computerized system at the City of Sterling Finance Office" After <br />each billing period, the Finance Office prepares a report of revenue and consumption. <br />Another report is prepared that indicates the number of customers billed. Customer <br />water use patterns can be analyzed by using water billing records. <br /> <br />Annual sales records show a steady demand in water use over time, with the exception <br />of demand in 1994. The increase in demand in 1994 can be attributed to the sale of <br />water to contractors during the reconstruction of the locall-7S interchange.
