The estimated reduction in peak-day water use of newly constructed facilities is about .02 to .03 mgd per year. 7.1.11 Watsr Savings of Existing Pr~CII11 A summ"ry of the City's existing conservation program and its impact on consumption is contained in Table 7-2. The measures are estimated to be saving a maximum of 5 mgd in the year 1990. The savings calculations are estimates based on similar projects and studies and are not derived from historical water use records in Boulder. City records are not available for determining water savings associated with implemented conservation measures.
