The <br />asses listed ill this brochure are water- <br />conserving allernatives (0 the <br />traditiollal Kenlllcky hluegrass. <br />Properly tended, each will <br />form a lush, lovely, unthirsty <br />lawll. <br />Each of these grasses has its <br />own unique characteristics, <br />which are disclIssed 011 Ihe rol1owillg <br />pages. Ccrlain terms, however, <br />are generic to all grasses. For <br />example, grasses are either cool- <br />season or warl11~scas(Jn.
