INVENTORY <br /> <br />2.1 Water Supply/Storage <br />Treated water is obtained from the Fry-Ark Project and 17 wells located in three separate <br />aquifers. <br /> <br />Currently the Company provides service to approximately 4,600 customers. <br />Metered water sales have averaged approximately 2,400 acre feet per year. <br />Unaccounted for uses and losses are estimated to be 15%. The metered sales together with <br />losses increase the total water production demand to approximately 2,800 acre feet per year. <br /> <br />The Company presently has five storage tanks that have a total capacity of 6,300,000 gallons. <br /> <br />2.2 WaterlWastewater Treatment Capacity <br />The Company owns all the water rights to its wells and pumps the wells in accordance with the <br />best management practices for each aquifer. The Company owns a wastewater treatment facility <br />. designed for2.5mgd. The wastewater'plant is currently operating at fifty-per-cent capacity. <br /> <br />- - 2'.3 ExistingWater Conservation-Measures <br />I. Water-efficient fixtures <br />Plumbing Codes: The Company requires all new construction to install 1,6 gallon <br />per flush water closets, 1 gallon per minute urinals, 2.5gpm faucets and <br />showerheads, lavatory, kitchen and service faucets designed not to exceed a flow <br />rate of2,2 gpm at 80 psi. Additionally, all replacement plumbing fixtures must <br />meet the same standards. <br /> <br />2, Distribution system leak repair <br />To maintain the integrity of the system the Company monitors its sales and <br />compares it to the gallons pumped. Leak detection program is done monthly. <br /> <br />4 <br />
