<br />3.0 Status of the Fort Collins - Loveland Water District <br /> <br />3.1 History of the FCLWD <br /> <br />The Fort Collins - Loveland Water District was formed as a Colorado Special District in <br />1962 and began serving domestic water to a 60-square mile area in Larimer in 1964. <br />The District is generally bounded by the City of Fort on the North, the City of Loveland <br />on the South, the Town of Windsor on the East, and the foothills of the Front Range on <br />the West.
