<br />developed in the performance of this contract. <br />3. Pursuant to the contract between the State and the Bureau of <br />Reclamation attached hereto as Exhibit \IN', all reports shall be <br />forwarded to and become the property of the Bureau of Reclamation, <br />Department of the United State Department of the Interio~, Clause No. <br />24 of the General Provisions, IIPublication and Copyright", shall apply <br />to publication of material pertaining to contract work including <br />previously published material which is not identified in the report <br />as copyrighted. <br />4. The final report required by sub-clause D-2 above shall contain <br />a list of key words (descripters) and a short information abstract <br />(about 200 words) in accordance with the Water Resources Thesarus. <br />The format of the final report shall be in accordance with "guidelines <br />to format standards for scientific and technical reports" prepared by <br />and for the federal government as issued December 1968 by the Committee <br />of Scientific and Technical Information, Federal Council for Science <br />and Technology, washington, D. C. 20508. <br />5. Scientific work within the Atmospheric Water Research Programs <br />will be conducted in metric units insofar as reasonably possible. <br />Preference will be given to the Metre..kilogram-second system where <br />this does not result in clumsy expressions. Scientific and technical <br />reports and products submitted to the State, including computer pro- <br />grams, shall use appropriate metric units. <br /> <br />II. FUNDING AND REIMBURSEMENT <br /> <br />A. Board Performance <br />With funds, supporting services, and other resources made available <br />by the State, the Board will perform and contract with third parties <br />to perform the planning and research studies and the Board will perform <br />such administrative activities as selection and negotiation of contracts, <br />review, and development of work plans and monitoring and reviewing~ <br />program progress. Copies of progress and final reports resulting from <br />these studies will be made available to the State. <br />Studies and work performed by the Board and funded by the State will <br />be subject to the following conditions: <br />1. Reimbursable Costs and Limitations <br />a. The Board shall provide all of the personnel services, plant <br />facilities, equipment, materials, and supplies and perform all travel <br />which may be necessary and appropriate for its proper performance of <br />this Agreement. <br />2. Payments <br />a. Payments - the State will pay the Board, subject to the <br />limitations and conditions set forth in sub-clause a. and b. hereof, <br />and below in this clause, all of the Board~s costs actually and properly <br />incurred in its performance in accordance herewith. <br /> <br />-3 - <br />
