<br />The Board shall submit vouchers for payments. The vouchers <br />shall itemize all costs, including itemi2ation of subcontractor costs <br />supported by a copy of the subcontractor's invoice, incurred in the <br />performance of this Agreement during the period reported in accordance <br />with either FPR 1~15.2, .3, or .7 depending on the nature of the <br />organization having the subcontract. The Board shall make every <br />effort to take advantage of available discounts when making purchases <br />and all vouchers submitted shall reflect these credits. <br />Upon receipt the vouchers will be examined by the State, and <br />when approved for payment, the vouchers will be paid in the amount <br />so approved. <br />b. Release of claims. After completion of work, and prior <br />to final payment, the Board shall furnish to the State a release of <br />claims against the State arising out of this Agreement, other than <br />claims specifically excepted from the operation of the release. <br />B. State Performance <br />The State funding for these studies shall be obtained from the <br />Bureau of Reclamation, United States Department of the Interior, <br />pursuant to the contract between the Bureau and the State, a copy <br />attached hereto as Exhibit f'AII. Bureau funding to the State for <br />these studies will be ob the basis of research program needs and the <br />availability of Congressionally appropriated funds. The State shall <br />not be liable to the Board for damages unde'[' this Agreement on account <br />of failure of Congress to appropriate funds or the failure of the <br />Bureau to reserve funds for these contracts. <br /> <br />III. ~ <br />The estimate of costs to perform the research supported by funds <br /> <br />transferred to the Board by the State are: <br />February I, 1977, to September 30, 1977 <br />October I, 1977 to November 30, 1977 <br /> <br />$14,946.35 <br />4.466.65 <br />19,413.00 <br />The sum of $14,946.35 has been reserved by the State and is <br />available for payments under this agreement. The liability of the <br />State for any further work performed in contingent upon the necessary <br />appropriations by the Congress of the United States and appropriate <br />reservation of funds thereof by the Bureau of Reclamation, United <br />States Department of the Interior. <br /> <br />IV. TERM OF THE AGREEMENT <br />This agreement shall be from the 15th day of Febraury, 1977, <br />through the 31st day of December, 1977. <br />This Agreement may be extended or otherwise modified if agreeable <br />to the parties hereto. Such extension or modification shall be in the <br />form of a written amendment to this Agreement signed by the parties <br />hereto. <br /> <br />-4- <br />
