<br />Step S. Installed retrofit devices. Retrofit devices were installed on all the faucets, <br />showers and toilets in the home if they met the guidelines in Table 4 unless the resi- <br />dent requested otherwise. There were 28 callbacks for repairs. Toilet flapper adjust- <br />ments topped the list with 22 calls. There were four showerheads needing adapters <br />and two leaky faucets. The contractor made the repairs for 90 days after the project <br />was completed. In the year following, the City replaced two toilet flappers that mal- <br />functioned. Table 4 shows the devices that were installed during the project. <br /> <br />Table 4. Discussed audit and water use. The resident received copies of the Water <br />Use Assessment Form and their water use history for the past three years. The audi- <br />tor discussed the audit and water-conserving ideas with the resident and answered <br />any questions. A few customers reported that the auditor hurried through the audit <br />and did not spend time on this important step. <br /> <br />Step 7. Left a rain gauge and a packet of information.
