<br />Program Evaluation <br /> <br />The City staffwill develop an annual report detailing the City water demands from the previous <br />year and the estimated effectiveness of the water conservation program. This report will be made <br />available to the public. The report will also contain recommendations regarding changes to the <br />conservation program. If changes are made to the Conservation Plan, the Plan will be made <br />available to the public for a 60 day comment period before the amended plan is adopted by City <br />Council. <br /> <br />Future Conservation Measures and Role of Conservation Plan <br /> <br />The City of Fort Morgan is committed to developing and implementing an effective water <br />conservation program. The City is faced with making difficult decisions regarding its future <br />water supply system in the near future, particularly the continuation and completion of the C-BT <br />water pipeline project. Water conservation will definitely be an important part ofthe City's <br />future plans, <br /> <br />The metering program is the most important component of the Conservation Plan at this time, In <br />addition to the metering program, the City also plans to implement a public education program <br />and irrigation efficiency program within the next year. During the following years, the City will <br />evaluate the feasibility of other conservation measures, many of which are discussed later in this <br />report. It is a primary goal of the City to implement as many feasible conservation measures as <br />possible in an effort to conserve water. <br /> <br />3 <br />
