Each site report was composed of the <br />following: <br />a. Introduction <br />b. Historical Water Consumption <br />c. Water Balance <br />d, Water Conservation Opportunities <br />e, Cost/Benefit Analysis <br /> <br />a. Introduction. This component gave a general description of the facility that included such <br />items as date of construction, building and property size, number of employees, etc. In <br />addition, key personnel were mentioned as onsite contacts, <br /> <br />b. Historical Water Consumption. Up to 4 years worth of historical consumption was <br />included in the site report. This information was presented in tabular and graphical <br />formats. <br /> <br />c. Water Balance. The water balance accounts for all major water uses within a facility. <br />Based on measurec;l and estimated flow rates, water use was expressed in terms of <br />"gallons per year". .The goal was to aim for 90% or better accounted for water use as <br />compared to one calendar year's worth of metered records, <br /> <br />SECTION 1: INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />2 <br />
