<br />SECTION 1 <br />INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />PURPOSE <br />The entire Water Management Survey was conducted at the request of the State of Colorado, <br />specifically Chris Bridges, Conservation Officer for the State of Colorado. Objectives included: <br /> <br />o Conducting site specific water audits to develop an overall technical knowledge of water <br />uses at selected State of Colorado (State) facilities and properties. <br /> <br />o Identifying cost-effective opportunities to reduce water use without affecting facility <br />operations. <br /> <br />o Developing site specific 'reports for each facility. Each report included general infonnation <br />about the facility, water use history. water balance, water conservation opportunities, and <br />a cost/benefit analysis of recommended conservation measures. <br /> <br />o Compiling all information acquired from water audits and presenting this summary report <br />to the State of Color:ado. <br /> <br />SCOPE <br />The scope of this project included four major tasks" They include: <br />1. Site Selection <br />2. Site specific Water Audits <br />3. Site Reports <br />4. Summary Report <br /> <br />1. Site Selection <br />A total of 11 facilities were selected by State and Denver Water personnel. However several <br />were combined into one audit and site report since they were all on one meter. Therefore a total <br />of 8 water audits were completed. Table 1-1 identifies all targeted facilities" <br /> <br />SECTION 1: INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />1 <br />
