Maintaining raw water reserves also reduces the storage needed for raw
water. For those taps served by historic Left Hand Ditch Company water,
a 40% share reserve is maintained. For taps served by C-BT project
water, a 25% reserve is maintained.

RAW WATER STORAGE

In a 1990 Water Rights Analysis prepared by Rocky Mountain Consultants,
Inc., the need for storage of raw water was identified. storage of raw
water can even the supply of water and utilize the water received
through spring stream flows during later summer dry seasons.

As a part of the District's long range capital improvements, additional
storage at the Dodd Treatment Plant site is planned to conserve C-BT
water deliveries on site. A pipeline to store and retrieve water from
Left Hand Valley Reservoir will also allow conservation of raw water
sources.

'1
