EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

After water use studies in the service area, discussion with the citizen
committee, review of existing resources, and analysis of the ability of
Left Hand Water District to implement the conservation measures as
outlined in HB 91-1154, it is the conclusion of the conservation
committee that the efforts of the District should be concentrated on
promoting water wise landscaping. The role of the District in promoting
wise landscape water use will be:

1. To act as a resource center for information, resources and
expertise available in the community.

building as an educational tool for the District customers. The garden
demonstrates the different types of turf available, and alternatives to
