<br />I <br />1 <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />------- <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br /> <br />After water use studies in the service area, discussion with the citizen <br />committee, review of existing resources, and analysis of the ability of <br />Left Hand Water District to implement the conservation measures as <br />outlined in HB 91-1154, it is the conclusion of the conservation <br />committee that the efforts of the District should be concentrated on <br />promoting water wise landscaping. The role of the District in promoting <br />wise landscape water use will be: <br /> <br />1. To act as a resource center for information, resources and <br />expertise available in the community. <br /> <br />2. To organize and promote education opportunities for new and <br />existing customers regarding water wise landscaping. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />To promote <br />developments <br />landscaping, <br />landscaping. <br /> <br />the use of water wise landscaping in all new <br />through county regulations requiring water wise <br />and incentives to use non-treated water resources for <br /> <br />A demonstration garden has been developed adjacent to the administration <br />building as an educational tool for the District customers.
