EXHIBIT A 1. Soooe of Services The Project involve the distribution of packets with water saving plumbing devices and literature to each household in the Contractor's water service area. Approximately SOO packets will be distributed. The Project will enable the complete conversion of the community to water conserving plumbing fOOures. The Project will educate residents on water conservation techniques and the importance of wise water use. The Contractor anticipates as much as 20% reduction in water use due to the Project implementation. The Project will announce the availability of packets containing literature and indoor water efficient devices for all residents' kitchen and bathroom [ooures. Residents will be asked to pick up the packets at Town Hall. The Contractor will provide free device installation if requested by residents. Two seasons of household winter water use will be monitored to evaluate savings resulting from device installation. The Contractor wiJl produce a newsletter to announce the Project and explain the benefits to citizens. Each newsletter will contain statistics on water savings and other water conservation information. Individual households will also be informed on their water use and savings. The local newspapers and radio stations will be provided with news releases and articles for further publicity. A Mid-Project Report will be completed at the end of the first year of water use monitoring. Preliminary data on water savings shall be included as well as results from customer surveys and perceptions of town residents. A Final Report shall be compiled upon completion of the Project. The Final Report shall include details in the Mid-Project Report as well as a project summary, discussion of Project implementation, project findings and water savings results. The Final Report will not only conclude the Project but will serve as information to be shared with other Colorado communities. 2. Proiect Tune of Performance The Project will commence on July 31, 1992, or upon full and proper execution of this Contract. The Project will be completed on or before September 30, 1994. However, the Project time of performance may be extended subject to the mutual agreement of the State and Contractor. A written request for extension shall be submitted to the State by the Contractor at least thirty (30) days prior to September 30,1994, and shall include a full justification for the extension request. 3.
