WATER SAVER KITS

SURVEY:

We took a poll of 17 people and the results are as follows

TEST CASES:

A random selection of 22 houses for yearly consumption based on a
4 quarter basis for an annual reading using Sept, 1 1990 through
Aug. 31, 1994 as our four year basis. The results, because of
drought conditions, are inconclusive. We have had trouble reading
meters on the quarter ending February which would also skewer the
results, Using the information obtained from the weather Bureau,
it appears that this would account for part of the increase between
91 to 94. We did show savings between 91 to 93 and 92 to 93.
Because of the drought it is inconclusive.

ADVERTISING:

Enclosed is the copy of Silt Happenings to show the advertising
done at the beginning of the project. We delivered door to door
during October to finish the projects delivery. Many were picked
up at town hall while we finished with a door to door delivery as
we could find time, News articles in the local paper was also
done.

CONCLUSION:

The reception was mildly affirmative, but the savings is
questionable. Many parts were very useful, if installed, but
installation was only partial, and could only be done by the home-
owner and we had no control over this. We did offer our services to
anyone who could not install their kits, but had few takers, Our
