Professionally designed materials (brochures, posters, newspaper inserts) that emphasize <br />the positive effects of water conservation on life style (i.e., there's enough hot water for <br />four people to shower in the morning with a low-flow shower head; a mulching lawn <br />mower saves bagging and fertilizes the lawn). <br />. Public displays. <br />. Innovative programs (i.e., work with the newspaper on a feature article following <br />volunteer families using no water for a day). <br />. Coupons in utility bills for discounts at participating retail stores on low-flow plumbing <br />fixtures, alternative grasses and low water-use plant materials (rather than City-funded <br />rebate programs and free conservation kit distribution). <br /> <br />20 <br />
