availability of the pamphlets through the WWSD quarterly

newsletter. A publication that lists the best materials and

curriculum that have been developed throughout the United

States was written and published. A slide presentation and

a VHS tape about water use and conservation was also

developed. These last two items are specifically designed

for the WWSD area but could be used to help others to

develop such materials for their locations.

The local school districts teachers have been notified

of the materials. Because of the contacts with District 11,

Colorado Springs largest school district, the use of the

materials has increased to a much larger group of teachers

and students. The complete program has been submitted as a

presentation at the National Science Teachers Association

International Convention. This conference will take place in

San Francisco, California, December 27-29, 1996.
