<br />. <br /> <br />presented. The local public have been made aware of the <br /> <br />availability of the pamphlets through the WWSD quarterly <br /> <br />newsletter. A publication that lists the best materials and <br /> <br />curriculum that have been developed throughout the United <br /> <br />States was written and published. A slide presentation and <br /> <br />a VHS tape about water use and conservation was also <br /> <br />developed. These last two items are specifically designed <br /> <br />for the WWSD area but could be used to help others to <br /> <br />develop such materials for their locations. <br /> <br />The local school districts teachers have been notified <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />of the materials. Because of the contacts with District 11, <br /> <br />Colorado Springs largest school district, the use of the <br /> <br />materials has increased to a much larger group of teachers <br /> <br />and students. The complete program has been submitted as a <br /> <br />presentation at the National Science Teachers Association <br /> <br />International Convention.
