<br />. <br /> <br />SUMMARY OF THE PROJECT <br /> <br />The Woodmoor Water and Sanitation District (WWSD) <br /> <br />initiated a request for funds from the Colorado Water <br /> <br />Conservation Board in 1992. The grant proposal was prepared <br /> <br />by a team composed of Dr. Paul K. Grogger, a professor of <br /> <br />engineering geology at the University of Colorado at <br /> <br />Colorado Springs, Philip A. Steininger, the manager of WWSD <br /> <br />and Samuel P. Morgan, Jr., a science teacher at Lewis Palmer <br /> <br />Middle School. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />1. SITUATION: <br /> <br />A. PROCESS: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />During the next three years the team developed various <br /> <br />materials and curriculum that could be used in the local <br /> <br />schools. A large number of water conservation pamphlets <br /> <br />were also designed to be used by the people living in the <br /> <br />district. The majority of the pamphlets could be used <br /> <br />anywhere although the climate of the general area of the <br /> <br />Front Range of Colorado more closely fits the information <br /> <br />2 <br />
