<br />J <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />l <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />SECTION II - THE DENVER WATER BOARD CONTRACTS <br /> <br />Willows Water District signed two agreements (RB233 and MM240) with the City of Denver on <br />August 8, 1995 for replenishable water sources. By the year 2010, Willows Water District will <br />receive all of its water supply directly through connections from the Denver Water Department. This <br />Contract also specifies that Willows must implement a Conservation Plan to encourage wise use of <br />water throughout the service area. Measures required in the Contract include the following: <br /> <br />. Support the Denver Conservation Plan with Willows' customers <br />. Contribute ideas and suggestions to the Denver Water Board concerning conservation <br />. Encourage the use of water saving fixtures within the District <br />. Provide the Denver Water Board with information concerning the District's system, necessary <br />to implement a Water Conservation Plan <br />. Conduct a leak detection and repair policy acceptable to the Denver Water Board <br />. Provide the Denver Water Board with any records concerning water use and other data <br />necessary for the Conservation Plan <br />. Assess penalties against District customers for wasteful water consumption <br />. Adopt policies and take necessary actions to enable the Denver Water Board to obtain <br />permits <br />. Any other actions that may be required under the law <br /> <br />.., <br /> <br />3 <br />
