Denver Water performed leak detection on Willows' <br />water lines in 1991 and will conduct another complete leak detection survey in June 1996. The tests <br />indicated that the Willows' system is very tight with minimal leakage. Currently, a computer system <br />is used for data collection of system demands and production. This system, Supervisory Control and <br />Data Acquisition (SCADA), is vital to the District operations. Existing pipes in the system consist <br />of: Ductile Iron, Polyvinyl Chloride (PVe), asbestos cement, reinforced concrete, and copper. <br /> <br />2 <br />
