i I I I I I I I I - - - ~ - -- , I I I I I Chapter 2 Benefits Better water use wil~ have benefits for the Fort Lupton Water Enterprise (Water Enterprise), for individuals, and the environment and will also help maintain a high quality of water as explained below. A. For the Department/Entity Because of the high debt load the Water Enterprise has had to assume to bring a better quality water source to its customers, it is in the vital interest of Fort Lupton that this resource be used wisely and efficiently for the following reasons: o The City will be able to serve a greater population base which will allow it to lessen the financial burden on the existing customer base to finance the debt payments. o The City still intends to use its groundwater supplies to provide low quality water to large industrial uses and for the irrigation of public grounds.
