<br />~ <br />~ ~ <br />~ <br />~~ <br /> <br /> <br />~.")o~,-:-..~; <br /> <br />~Jl~: <br />F:::' <br /> <br />\}.". <br />',.". <br /> <br />DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS RELATING TO ANY LAND IT HAS DESIGNATED <br /> <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br /> <br />AS RURAL LANDS TO ENSURE THAT: <br /> <br />(a) SUCH LAND IS NOT CONVERTED INTO SPRAWLING LOW-DENSITY <br />DEVELOPMENT; <br /> <br />(b) DEVELOPMENT OF SUCH LAND HAS MINIMAL IMPACT ON <br />CONSER V A TION AND OPEN SPACE LAND AND PRIME AGRICULTURAL LAND, <br /> <br />CONSISTENT WITH APPLICABLE FEDERAL, STATE. OR LOCAL LAW; <br />(c) DEVELOPMENT OF SUCH LAND DOES NOT REASONABLY IMPEDE <br />FUTURE EXPANSION OF URBAN SERVICE AREAS: AND <br /> <br />10 (d) DEVELOPMENT OF SUCH LANDS WILL NOT HAVE A SIGNIFICANT <br />II ADVERSE EFFECT UPON THE ABILITY OF THE LOCAL PLANNING JURISDICTION <br /> <br />] 2 TO PROVIDE SERVICES OR HAVE A SIGNIFICANT ADVERSE EFFECT UPON <br /> <br />13 OTHER PROPERTY WITHIN THE JURISDICTION, INCLUDING LAND SUPPORTING <br /> <br />14 AGRICULTURAL OPERATIONS. <br /> <br />15 (5) WITHIN LANDS IT HAS DESIGNATED AS RURAL LANDS IN <br /> <br /> <br />16 ACCORDANCE WITH THE REOUIREMENTS OF SUBSECTION (1) OF THIS <br /> <br /> <br />17 SECTION, A LOCAL PLANNING JURISDICTION MAY DESIGNATE LANDS AS <br /> <br />18 NATURALLY PRODUCTIVE OR CONSERVATION AND OPEN SPACE LAND. <br /> <br />19 (6) IF A LOCAL PLANNING JURISDICTION DESIGNATES LAND AS <br />20 NATURALLY PRODUCTIVE OR CONSERVATION AND OPEN SPACE LAND, IT <br /> <br />21 ~HALL: <br /> <br />22 (a) ADOPT LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS THAT. CONSISTENT <br />23 WITH APPLICABLE LAWS AND REGULATIONS. ALLOW THE USEOF SUCH LAND <br />24 FOR THE PURPOSES CONSISTENT WITH THE DESIGNATION, INCLUDING <br />25 MEASURES TO ENSURE THAT A LANDOWNER MAY ENGAGE IN NECESSARY <br /> <br />26 OR CUSTOMARY AGRICULTURAL, FORESTRY.
