• Deputy Director David Walker reported on the status of <br /> this project as follows : <br /> a. Construction on Stage 1 is proceeding and is almost <br /> finished. <br /> b. Contract for construction on Stage 2 is scheduled <br /> for award in December . <br /> c . Acquisition of land and rights by the Board is <br /> proceeding on schedule, some condemnation actions <br /> have been filed. <br /> d. Relocation of the Englewood Pump Station is <br /> slightly behind schedule. <br /> 4 . Colorado River Basin Salinity Control Legislation <br /> Mr . McDonald continued regarding amendatory legislation to <br /> the 1974 Act, which was passed by Congress and includes the <br /> following provisions : <br /> a. Authorizes two new projects in Colorado, the Lower <br /> Gunnison and McElmo Creek Units . <br /> . b. Clarified USDA on-farm program. <br /> c . Added fish and wildlife mitigation. <br /> d. Clarified provisions concerning OM&R costs and <br /> responsibility for maintenance of laterals . <br /> e. Water rights . <br /> f . Cost-sharing. <br /> 5 . State Salinity Standards <br /> 6 . Reserved Rights Claims--Ute Mountain Ute Indian Tribe <br /> 7 . Colorado River Reservoir Operations <br /> 8 . Construction Fund Repayment <br /> 9 . 1985 Project Authorization Bill Sponsors <br /> 10. Resignation of Dan Law <br /> Agenda Item 5 - Attorney General ' s Report <br /> Attorney General Woodard reported on the following items: <br /> • 1.
