Case Nos . 2-82CW138 - 160
On March 10, 1983, representatives from the CWCB staff and
the Attorney General 's office met with the Upper Arkansas Water
Conservancy District board to discuss statements of opposition
which the District had filed in the above referenced cases. The
District is apparently concerned with water availability on a
number of the streams and with potential opposition from the
State against future water development on these streams .
A field trip was scheduled to see the streams in question
with members from the District. However, due to heavy snows it
was canceled . It was agreed that the CWCB staff would take no
action on these streams until they have had an opportunity to see
them with the District and complete additional investigations .
The field trip will be rescheduled for late summer or early fall
1983 .

Conservancy District on April 19, 1983, in Alamosa to discuss
statements of opposition which the District had filed in the
