Staff Recommendation It is recommended that the Board authorize the staff to withdraw the .-above referenced filing on Grape Creek and notify all interested parties of this action. Water Division 4 Case No. 4-80CW091, Farris Creek, from headwaters to confluence with East River, 3 cfs. Case No. 4-80CW105, Castle Creek, from confluence N. & S . Castle Creeks to confluence with Ohio Creek. Case No . 4-80CW136, No Name Creek, from headwaters to confluence with Major Creek. On March 17, 1980 the Board approved final recommendations on the above referenced streams. Due to objections filed by the Upper Gunnison Water Conservancy District, Mt. Emmons, and the United States, additional studies were made on these and other streams in Division 4. Staff members from the CWCB, DOW, and DWR performed these studies, which were concerned primarily with water availability and environmental needs . As a result of these additional studies, the staff has concluded that the following modifications should be made to the original filings : Farris Creek--lower terminus should be moved upstream approximately two miles to headgate of Meads No. 3 Ditch, flow remains at 3 cfs. Castle Creek--lower terminus should be moved upstream approximately 0 . 7 of a mile to the headgate of the Acme Ditch, flow remains at 7 cfs. No Name Creek--lower terminus should be moved upstream approximately 0 .4 miles to the headgate of the Means Bros . No. 10 Ditch, flow remains at 2 cfs. The Upper Gunnison River Water Conservancy District has agreed to withdraw their statements of opposition in the above referenced cases if the recommended modifications are made . Staff Recommendation: That the Board approve the modifications to the above referenced filings and authorize the staff to have the appropriate documents filed with the court.
