LEAVIT,: I received a large number of copies of <br /> this Compact from Mr. Noe, and made it a point to put these <br /> copies in the hands of all of our ditch organizations in the <br /> three bodies, Hamilton, Kearny, and Finney, and of other <br /> individuals Who were particularly interested in the proble=m. <br /> CHAIRMAN KRAMER: It would appear, then, that the draft <br /> of September 17 had a wide distribution, and certainly has <br /> reached all of the interested people, both individuals and <br /> organizations. <br /> (A brief recess was here taken. ) <br /> CHAIRMAN 1CRAMER: I had hoped to be able to distribute <br /> to you copies of a letter from Mr. Dixon, but the typing is <br /> not quite completed, and so that will come a little later. <br /> I think now ye should tame up where the editing committee <br /> left off. Mr. Tidal reported on the work of that editing com.- <br /> mittee, which came out in the form of a mimeographed draft, <br /> and I think it appropriate that we place this draft upon the <br /> record. Mr. Tidal did not make a formal suggestion to that <br /> effect, but that has been our practice, and unless there is <br /> objection to the continuation of that practice, I will direct <br />
