Before we do that, however, I want to take formal
action consistent with the procedure we have adopted- in
our previous meetings, to place upon the record for the
purpose of disoussion1a( reference and identification or 4
revised draft of the Compact as prepared by our Secretary,
that draft being identified with the heading "Colorado-
sas Arkansas River Compact Commission, Revised Draft,
8/2/48. • That document consists of 19 pages.

CHAIRMAN UMW Pages 15 and 18 of the draft docu-
ment are substituted pages which the Secretary distributed
with a speoial letter after his original distribution of
this draft of 8/4/48. These pages tally with the change
covering the stream gaging functions of the U. 8. Geo-
