Z <br /> Whatever language it uses in its reports may not be accept- <br /> able to the Commission, but as Mr. Patterson pointed out, it <br /> Is within our province to adopt any report within our own <br /> bounds. <br /> MR. KNAPP: I will withdraw the latter part of that. <br /> How does the motion read, then? <br /> MR. MENDENHALL: Would you like to state those terms <br /> in your motion? <br /> MR. KNAPP: Insert there "native Arkansas. River water, * <br /> and "foreign water. " Insert that in the first part of the <br /> motion. <br /> MR. IRELAND: Would you be willing to include in your <br /> motion "adopt tentatively"? I don't think the Commission <br /> wants to bind itself at this time to anything final and <br /> definite, but adopt them sufficiently that the Engineering <br /> Committee can go ahead and assume that that generally is the <br /> basis. Those words may want to be brushed up a little bit. <br /> I wouldn' t be agreeable to a definite, final adoption of any- <br /> thing like that at this stage.. <br /> M.R.
