39
70
O
0
c
0
m
0
D,
ask the representative of the Power Commission for perhaps
a more definite statement of the plans or whatever ideas p'
they had, ana if there was anything to take up concerning it, 0
we would take it up at the time when we meet with the rep«-
0
resentatives of the Interior Department, the Bureau of
Reclamation, and discuss the interests of that department
in our compact and the operation of Caddoa.
CRAIRMAN KRAMER: Is there any discussion on the point
just presented by Mr. Vidal? I might say that the Engineering
Committee has arrived at a similar conclusion, and the portion
of the letter which Mr. Vidal refers to is the third pare-
graph from the end of Mr. Olds' letter of September 26, the
conclusion of the Engineering Committee being that this tied
in direotly with transmountain diversion projects which are
being planned by the Bureau of Reclamation, and must neces-
sarily be considered in conjunction with our meeting with the
Bureau of Reclamation, and that we should obtain whatever
applifioation to that contained in this paragraph that Mr.
Gatohell might be able to give us. I see no other course
of action that we can follow.
Is there any other discussion of that matter? If not,
we will pass on to the report of the Committee on Engineering
Data and Studies, which I will read.
(Chairman Kramer thereupon read the report of the
Committee on Engineering Data and Studies. )
