PATTERBON: I think by way of commenting on this <br /> engineering report, I believe we engineers feel it is going to <br /> take more than one meeting with the Reclamation Bureau to come <br /> to an understanding with them about what they may do, and what <br /> the effect of what they do may have on our compact and on <br /> Caddoa Reservoir. I doubt if we can meet once and arrive at <br /> any definite understanding with them about it. The first meet- <br /> ing I think is going to have to be educational on both sides, <br /> to let the Bureau know, maybe, what we are planning to do and <br /> for us to find out as best we can what they are planning to do. <br /> General, I wonder if you would care to discuss that <br /> angle of the proposed meeting that involves the proper rep- <br /> resentation on the part of the Bureau or the Department of <br /> the Interior who appear before this Commission? <br /> CHAIRMAN KRAMER: Oh, I don' t know that we necessarily <br /> have to burden our record with that detail.
