• Johnstown, Town of-Raw Water Pipeline Authorization: SB 94-29 County: Larimer/Weld—W of Johnstown Water Source: Big Thompson River Project Yield: 2,200 ac.ft. Terms of Loan: $2,500,000 @ 4%for 30 years Project Type: Pipeline Construction The project includes the replacement of 11 miles of open ditch with a 14-16 inch pipeline from Lonetree Reservoir to the Town of Johnstown's water treatment plant including a booster station at the reservoir and connection facilities at the treatment plant. PRC Environmental Management, Inc. of Denver designed the project. The construction contract was awarded to Hall- Irwin Construction Co. of Greeley and B.T. Construction, Inc. of Broomfield August 6, 1996: Construction commenced in early October 1996 and was completed in June 1997. Project documentation and final accounting is currently underway with substantial completion scheduled in May 1999. Excelsior Irrigating Company-Excelsior Ditch Rehabilitation Authorization: SB 97-008 County: Pueblo—E of Pueblo Water Source: Arkansas River Project Yield: 4,250 ac.ft. • Terms of Loan: $230,000 @ 3.75%for 30 yrs Project Type: Ditch Rehabilitation This $335,000 project is the re-construction of approximately 2 miles of open ditch, which has previously been abandoned and farmed over. Also included in the project is the construction of several pump stations for water delivery. The project is located in Pueblo County 10 miles east of Pueblo. Project design was prepared by the Pueblo Office of the Natural Resource Conservation Service, Ralph Adkins, P.E. of Pueblo, Irrigation Engineering of Alamosa and Hendrooke Sprinklers of Ft. Collins. Project construction commenced by the owner and several sub- contractors in May 1998 with project completion scheduled for May 1999. Julesburg Irrigation District—Harmony Ditch#1 Diversion Structure Rehabilitation Authorization: Emerg. Infrastructure Repair Account County: Logan—SW of Crook Water Source: South Platte River Project Yield: 40,000 ac.ft. Terms of Loan: $590,000 @ 3.75%for 30 years Project Type: Diversion Rehabilitation This project is the emergency rehabilitation of the Julesburg Irrigation District's Harmony Ditch #1 diversion structure on the South Platte River 4 miles southwest of Crook. The structure • was damaged by the 1997 South Platte floods and is critical to the operation of the Company's Julesburg Reservoir. Zoyiopoulos & Associates of Greeley prepared the design plans and the construction contract was awarded to Concrete Specialties, Inc. of Sterling in early January 1999. Construction is currently 30%complete with substantial completion scheduled for May 1999.
