4. FPR 98-471: A Flood Hazard Boundary Map (FHBM), dated September 19, 1975,was <br /> published by FEMA for the Town of Keenesburg in Weld County. The study includes <br /> approximate floodplain information for storm drainage areas associated with minor stream • <br /> courses in the community. <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> Attachments 1 through 4 summarize the findings of the staff review for each of the floodplain <br /> studies for which designation has been requested. <br /> RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> The floodplain information for Resolutions Nos. 98-468 and 98-470 meets the applicable <br /> requirements of the Board's "Floodplain Designation and Approval Rules". The proposed <br /> resolutions for those 2 studies/maps have been reviewed and discussed with the interested parties. <br /> The staff recommends that designation action be taken on the 2 studies/maps referenced above. <br /> The floodplain information for Resolutions Nos. 98-469 and 98-471 does not meet the applicable <br /> requirements of the Board's "Floodplain Designation and Approval Rules". The proposed <br /> resolutions for those 2 floodplain maps have been reviewed and discussed with the interested <br /> parties. The staff recommends that formal rescission action be taken on those 2 floodplain maps. <br /> PROPOSED MOTION • <br /> The Board, having reviewed the Board memorandum and the accompanying attachments <br /> summarizing the proposed Floodplain Resolutions, now moves as follows: to approve and <br /> designate as approximate 100-year floodplain information the subject reports and maps for <br /> Resolutions Nos. 98-468 and 98-470 and to rescind the approximate 100-year floodplain <br /> information shown on the subject maps for Resolutions Nos. 98-469 and 98-471. <br /> Motion By <br /> Second By <br /> For <br /> Against <br /> 1:\boardmem\sept98\5a-d.doc <br /> • <br />
