The existing steel and wood dam and headgate had been in place for more than 50 years <br /> and was structurally deficient. Wright Water Engineers of Denver, Colorado completed project <br /> design and preparation of construction contract documents. The construction contract was awarded <br /> 1 to TLM Constructors, Inc. of Swink, Colorado and construction commenced September 21, 1998. <br /> The project was completed in June 1999. <br /> Project Data <br /> ' Sponsor: Buffalo Mutual Irrigation Company County: Prowers River: Arkansas River <br /> Terms of Loan: $453,250 @ 3.75% for 30 yrs.
