11.2 PERMANENT DISCONTINUANCE OF WATER SERVICE. Customers may request <br /> a permanent discontinuance of water service. The Company's tap fee, as set forth in <br /> Appendix A shall be charged for the reconnection of the water service. <br /> 11.3 DISCONTINUANCE OF WATER SERVICE DUE TO DELINQUENCY IN <br /> PAYMENT. The Company shall give seventy-two (72) hours notice of its intention to <br /> discontinue water service because of a delinquency in payment. This notice shall be <br /> delivered by hand or sent by certified mail, addressed to the last known address of the <br /> holder of the delinquency in payment. If neither the owner(s) nor the occupant of the <br /> property can be located for personal service, it shall be lawful to attach the notice to the <br /> front door of the property. The Company reconnect fee, as set forth in Appendix C for a <br /> discontinuance of water service because of a delinquency in payment, shall be charged <br /> for reconnection of the water service. <br /> ARTICLE XII. COMPANY WATER SERVICE RATES, FEES AND BILLING PROCEDURES <br /> 12.1 TAP FEE. The Company's tap fee schedule is attached at Appendix A. The tap fee <br /> does not include the cost of the material or the installation of the distribution line, the <br /> meter, or any service line. <br /> 12.2 WATER RATE. All Company water sales (except fire fighting flows through fire <br /> Company fire hydrants and fire sprinklers) shall be through water meters. The water rate <br /> schedule is attached as Appendix B. <br /> 12.2.1 Owners of active, connected taps are responsible for paying the cost of the metered <br /> amount of water. <br /> 12.2.2 Owners of inactive but connected taps shall pay the minimum monthly water service rate <br /> or the metered rate, whichever is higher. <br /> 12.2.3 Company water meters shall be read every month. Water bills are payable within thirty <br /> (30) days after the due date. Interest of one percent (%) per month will be added to the <br /> customer's bill for the unpaid amount. <br /> 12.2.4 Where the customer believes has water bill is in error, the customer must file, in writing, <br /> a notice to the Company of the presumed error, and request a clarification from the <br /> Manager. Upon review by the Manager, and resubmittal and/or revision of the statement, <br /> payment shall be no later then ten (10) days from postmarked date of the resubmitted <br /> statement. Further review may be conducted pursuant to Article XIII. <br /> 12.2.5 The Company may terminate water service on accounts delinquent over sixty (60) days in <br /> conformity with the procedure set forth in Article XI., Section 11.3. The overdue water <br /> bill plus interest and the reconnect fee must be paid before service is reinstated. If the <br /> customer is not the property owner, the property owner shall be notified by mail at the <br /> last address left with the Company that the account is delinquent over sixty (60) day <br /> 12 <br />
