6.5 Water lines from any tap shall not be carried across property lines for use outside the <br /> property authorized to be served. <br /> 6.6 Taps shall serve only the property where the contract for the tap was originally made, and <br /> shall not be transferred to any other property. <br /> ARTICLE VII. WATER LINES <br /> 7.1 WATER MAINS. When service to a customer's property requires the extension of the <br /> Company's water mains, in the best interests of the Company the Commission may <br /> require the customer, at their own expense, to install a water main to the specifications of <br /> the company, or the Commission may require the customer to pay for the installation of <br /> the water main by the Company. <br /> All water mains, whether installed by the Company or by a customer, are the property of <br /> the Company. <br /> 7.1.1 CUSTOMER INSTALLATION OF WATER MAINS. If the Commission <br /> requires the customer to install the water main, the Commission shall provide, in <br /> writing, specifications for the pipeline equipment and construction. The <br /> Company has the right to inspect the ongoing construction, and the Company <br /> shall give final approval of the construction in place before the customer shall be <br /> eligible for any reimbursement under Appendix D. The customer shall dedicate <br /> the water main to the Company. The construction of the water main shall be <br /> warranted for a period of one year following dedication. <br /> The customer shall submit an itemized statement of the cost of the required <br /> equipment and construction to the Commission. Upon approval of the statement, <br /> the Company shall pay the applicant an amount as provided in Appendix D. <br /> 7.1.2 COMPANY INSTALLATION OF WATER MAINS. If the Company installs <br /> the water main, the customer shall pay the Company as provided in Appendix D. <br /> 7.2 DISTRIBUTION LINES. The Company shall install distribution lines and installation <br /> shall be in accordance with Company standards. The cost of such lines and necessary <br /> appurtenances thereto, and the cost of installation, shall be assessed to the customer <br /> requiring installation. <br /> The Company, in coordination with the customer, shall decide the location of the main <br /> line tap connection and the distribution line. <br /> All distribution lines are the property of the Company. <br />
