Hydrologic, Hydraulic, and Structural Design Criteria <br />The proposed dam is classified as a small size, High Hazard structure in accordance <br />with the SEO Rules. The dam and enlarged reservoir, along with its appurtenant <br />structures, are designed to safely contain and pass a flood generated by a probable <br />maximum precipitation event as required of a High Hazard Dam. <br />Land and Right-of-Way Requirements <br />The District owns the land where the enlarged reservoir will be constructed and all <br />easements and right-of-ways necessary for construction, operation and maintenance of <br />the dam, reservoir and pump station have already been acquired. <br />Opinion of Probable Cost <br />Table 1 provides a summary of the Engineer's opinion of the probable construction cost <br />and budget. The detailed Opinion of Probable Cost prepared by W. W. Wheeler and <br />Associates, Inc. is attached as Appendix D. <br />The costs associated with the existing dam removal, reservoir bottom excavation and <br />driveway relocation performed in the fall of 2010 work are not included. <br />�,a u�.
