1. The slide gate was opened and closed in the presence of the Association,
and it was deemed to be operating as designed.
VII. Tribute Garden
A. Attendees were presented with two options for the access to the tribute garden;
one with a single multidirectional entrance /exit, and one with a one -way
circular drive.
B. It was noted that there is a sense of urgency to begin construction, as the newly
relocated County Road 210 will be opening soon, and both alternatives require
modification to the currently contracted guardrail installations. The guardrail
contractor is currently on hold awaiting a redesign effort for either location.
C. All attendees concurred with the preferred alternative (one -way circular drive),
and the determination to proceed with the work

Conservancy District of New Mexico.

D. The coordinator for the tribute garden 4% _noted that a mechanism needs to be
established such that cash donations can 66-:1 accepted, as well as a public
process for sponsoring names to be considered for inclusion into the tribute.

A. The City ofitlrango has "submitted a request for a license agreement to
connect to the %ty of `I tt o 30 ", pipeline at the Durango Pumping Plant.

XI. FiW,Cost Allocation (FCA)

XII. Recreation Area Update
A. The ALPWCD presented a basic overview of the recreation planning at their
last meeting.
B. Reclamation is considering a Notice of Intent to sole source the recreation
planning to ALPWCD, which could lead to the issuance of a grant.
XIII. Fish Mortality Testing
A. Mortality testing has occurred at the 6802 and 6825 water surface elevations
B. Although results are preliminary, it looks like the mortality is very successful
for the fish themselves, but not for the eggs.
