TRANSFER INSPECTION REPORT <br />RIDGWAY DAM <br />DALLAS CREEK PROJECT <br />on September 20, 1990, representatives from the Denver Office, <br />Upper Colorado Regional Office, Grand Junction Projects Office, <br />Durango Projects Office, and.the Tri- County Water Conservancy <br />District inspected Ridgway Dam and Reservoir, Dallas Creek Project <br />in accordance with Reclamation Instructions, Paragraphs 232.0.7 and <br />232.0.8, preparatory to transfer from the Bureau of Reclamation <br />(Reclamation) to the Tri - County Water 'Conservancy District <br />(District). <br />The following personnel participated in the inspection: <br />Denver Office <br />Harold Blair Concrete Dams Branch <br />Luthor Davidson Embankment Dams Branch <br />John V. Parmenter <br />Roger Nobel <br />President <br />Manager /Engineer <br />The following is a detailed description of the facility to be <br />transferred: <br />Ridgway Dam is a rolled- earthfill dam located on the Uncompahgre <br />River about 6 miles north of Ridgway, Colorado. Construction of <br />the dam started in 1981 and was completed in 1986. The structural <br />height of the dam is 227 feet with a crest length of 2430 feet. <br />
