TRANSFER INSPECTION REPORT
RIDGWAY DAM
DALLAS CREEK PROJECT
on September 20, 1990, representatives from the Denver Office,
Upper Colorado Regional Office, Grand Junction Projects Office,
Durango Projects Office, and.the Tri- County Water Conservancy
District inspected Ridgway Dam and Reservoir, Dallas Creek Project
in accordance with Reclamation Instructions, Paragraphs 232.0.7 and
232.0.8, preparatory to transfer from the Bureau of Reclamation
(Reclamation) to the Tri - County Water 'Conservancy District
(District).

The following is a detailed description of the facility to be
transferred:
Ridgway Dam is a rolled- earthfill dam located on the Uncompahgre
River about 6 miles north of Ridgway, Colorado. Construction of
the dam started in 1981 and was completed in 1986. The structural
height of the dam is 227 feet with a crest length of 2430 feet.
